Plaid: Music to drink beer to.

One of my favorite all-time electronic music bands, Plaid, have a new album forthcoming on Warp Records in September.
Who in the hell are Plaid you might ask? Well, Plaid are Andy Turner and Ed Handley formerly of Black Dog Productions and numerous other projects. Over the years they’ve collaborated with many producers and vocalists including Red Snapper, Bjork and Alison Goldfrapp, just to name a few. They’ve also released albums on such notable labels as Warp, Peacefrog, and Trent Reznor’s Nothing label. They’ve garnished a worldwide fan base as well as amassed critical acclaim with their signature sounds and seemingly endless discography. They’re considered to be pioneers of “Intelligent” or “Experimental” electronic music and I’m sure their new album will be just as good as its predecessors.
You can watch their new video for ‘35 Summers’ and check the worldwide tour dates here and their artist site here.
